Wanda Kay

Opening ceremony and midnight act [clear]

With her outstanding voice and hypnotic charisma, Wanda shines through her naturalness like no other.

Her unmistakable trademark: extravagant/luxurious stage costumes, which alone are worthy of applause. Wanda Kay thrills the audience with songs of her own and evergreens by the big names in the music business from Shirley Bassey to Liza Minnelli to Tina Turner.

Already as a child, Wanda kay was fascinated by the big divas of the show business. Elaborate costumes, perfect make-up and these great voices. She also wanted to be like that, and today she can say with conviction, “I am the Diva!”

Bernard Bach

Regenbogen-Ballkomitee[clear] From non-dancer to master of ceremonies: Bernard Bach (born 1979) started his dance career in 1998, in the dance school Mühlsiegel. However, only in 2004 was he introduced to the dance school Stanek and the Viennese Rainbow Ball. From then on he opened as a dancer in the committee and slowly but steadily, as well as under the guidance of Wolfgang Stanek, worked his way up to becoming his assistant. Since then he has acted as the „good soul“ and support in dance rehearsals and as a choreographer. In 2013 he achieved his goal and became a dance master. Now he stepped into his old teachers shoes and leads the dance committee and organises the opening of the Rainbow Ball 2018.

Les Schuh Schuh

The LGBT dance group was founded in 2001 and has had roaring success after its performance at the EuroPride. Since 2002 the group’s regular performance has been an acclaimed part of the Rainbow Ball’s opening. Les Schuh Schuh twists conventional role models by changing who leads, switching partners and doing some cross-dressing, and thereby ironises and questions these role models. Their repertoire includes historical dances (such as the gavotte) as well as modern ones.

DJane Kamikace & DJ Noisolepsy

DJane Kamikace is the master mind behind PiNKED, which was founded in 2000, and created well-known events like Las Chicas and G-Mix. Since 2006 she operates the turn-tables and she is booked not only in Vienna, but all over Europe.

As a duo they contemplate each other perfectly and they worked together at other events. At the ball they will heat up the vibe at Gloriette-Bar.
